There are 75 combat moves. Achievements ask you to unlock 20 universal moves and 15 ancestral moves. These ten are the universal moves with stance, stamina, damage and accuracy.

How the ten moves differ

Every one of these ten hits either one enemy or the whole enemy team, and the stamina cost is the price of that swing. The Offensive moves are Taunting Strike, Quick Claw and Strong Claw. Taunting Strike spends 20 stamina for 15 damage at 100 percent accuracy and leaves the target Furious. Quick Claw spends the same 20 stamina for 30 damage, stays at 100 percent, and applies no status. Strong Claw spends 25 stamina for 35 damage and drops to 90 percent accuracy, still with no status.

The Defensive moves are Tackle and Provoking Stare. Tackle is 30 damage for 20 stamina at 100 percent with no status. Provoking Stare is only 15 damage for the same 20 stamina, and it leaves the target Stressed. The Trick moves are Rock Throw, Sand Throw and Sand Splash. Rock Throw matches Tackle's 30 damage, 20 stamina and 100 percent accuracy with no status. Sand Throw is 15 damage, 20 stamina, 100 percent, and Blinded. Sand Splash is the only team hit: 25 damage, 40 stamina, 100 percent, and no status, aimed at the enemy team.

Tail Attack is the Reckless move: 25 damage, 25 stamina, 100 percent, no status, one enemy. Poisonous Claw is the Sneaky move: 25 damage, 30 stamina, 75 percent accuracy, and Poison. That 75 percent is the only accuracy below 90 in these ten. Sort by stance when you want one column of costs, and open a move when you want it beside the next and previous universal move.

Sort the ten by what you are buying. A 20 stamina move is Taunting Strike, Tackle, Rock Throw, Quick Claw, Provoking Stare or Sand Throw. Their damage runs from 15 to 30. A 25 stamina move is Tail Attack or Strong Claw, at 25 or 35 damage. Poisonous Claw asks for 30 stamina and accepts a 75 percent hit in exchange for Poison. Sand Splash asks for 40 stamina because it reaches the whole enemy team.

Status is separate from the number. Furious, Stressed, Blinded and Poison each appear once. The other six moves, including both of the higher Offensive and Reckless hits, leave the target unmarked. Accuracy is 100 percent on eight moves, 90 percent on Strong Claw, and 75 percent on Poisonous Claw. If you only remember one split, remember that Sand Splash is the team move and Poisonous Claw is the one that can miss.
